What are on-site medications?
On-site medications are prescription medications that can be administered or dispensed during your urgent care visit when medically appropriate. Receiving medication before you leave can help you begin treatment immediately without making an additional stop at a pharmacy.
What types of medications are available on-site?
Depending on your diagnosis and the medications available at your Lansing Urgent Care location, on-site medications may include antibiotics, steroids, pain medications, breathing treatments, anti-nausea medications, allergy medications, and other commonly prescribed treatments. Will my insurance cover on-site medications?

Pre-packaged prescription medications (similar to what you would receive from a pharmacy) are not billed to insurance. These medications are offered at a convenient cash price that is often the same as or less than the copay you would typically pay at your local pharmacy. This allows you to start treatment right away without making an additional stop.
Do I need an appointment to receive on-site medications?
